THE GOODWOOD QUALITY MEATS TEAM

Our team has been developed carefully to select people passionate about meat and their craft as butchers and smallgoods makers.

We bring everyone into the decision-making process and this has created a sense of ownership in everything we do. It also makes everyone feel they are part of the business and instils an immense sense of care that runs across everything we produce.

We introduced the team into competitions and this has allowed them to experience what happens around Australia and other new ideas and concepts.

David Armstrong

David is the proud owner of Goodwood Quality Meats and a Master Butcher. He is qualified Smallgoods maker, also David enjoys camping, 4WDing, boating and spending time with the family.

Luke leyson

Luke has been part of our team for 17 years and is proudly the Captain of the Australian Competition Butchering team. Luke is also a Smallgoods maker and enjoys cooking, playing golf and spending time on the couch with his Great Dane, Daphne.

Caleb Sundqvist

Caleb is a 12 year veteran of our team and runs the front of house. Caleb is a Butcher and Smallgoods maker and a member of the National BBQ Team: Secondhand Smoke. He loves AFL and American Football, cooking and American style BBQ

Liz Elton

Liz is one of our newest team members and is a 2nd year psychology student at uni.
