Ingredient
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Method
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
- Stir in the honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar (or lemon juice). Mix well.
- Add black pepper and chili flakes if using.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly reduced.
- Brush over steak during the last few minutes of cooking or spoon over rested steak before serving.
